Church icons are icons measuring 20 cm or more, which, after being made, are placed in a kiot (icon case).
The term “temple” is conventional and primarily indicates the size and format traditionally used in churches and monasteries.

If there is a suitable place, such icons may be located not only in a church but also in a home prayer corner, becoming the center of prayer and reverent veneration.

Temple icons are often blessed by us during pilgrimage journeys to the most important shrines of the Orthodox world—on Mount Athos, in Bari, and on Corfu.

Prayers are offered before the icons, after which they are sent to the customer together with the holy relics. Thus, each icon carries not only artistic value but also a history of prayer.

A baptismal (measured) icon is a special sacred image that is traditionally given to an infant for the Sacrament of Baptism.

Such an icon depicts the saint after whom the child is baptized, and the height of the icon corresponds to the baby’s height at birth.

Usually, the measured icon with the image of the child’s heavenly patron is placed near the baby’s crib. In this way, parents from the earliest years accustom the child to prayer to God and to their saintly intercessor. A measured icon becomes a precious spiritual gift for a lifetime, especially if you have been invited to be a godfather or godmother.

To order a measured icon, the following information is required:

— the baby’s height at birth;

— the name of the saint after whom the child was baptized or will be baptized.

Our icon workshop also produces large crosses made to order.

They can be used as items of church furnishing—above the entrance to a church, inside the church, as well as in open spaces.

Our workshop has created crosses over 3 meters in height according to individual commissions (video). Such crosses have been installed both on church grounds and on private properties, taking into account the conditions of placement and their intended purpose.

Each cross is created manually, observing the proportions of the golden ratio and reverence for the shrine. Large crosses can also be made to be placed over the grave of Orthodox Christians, as a sign of faith, hope for the resurrection, and remembrance of the deceased.
