7 MIRACULOUS ATHOS ICONS OF THE MOTHER OF GOD
a set of shrines from Mount Athos and Greece
valid until November 3rd
Dear brothers and sisters! Every year we visit the Holy Mount Athos, the main inheritance of the Mother of God, and therefore our pilgrimage always takes place between the holidays of the Intercession and the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God.
As always, the main purpose of visiting Mount Athos will be a special prayer in front of the shrines of the Holy Mountain, among which there are many miraculous icons of the Lady.
During the pilgrimage, we will prepare a set of shrines from the seven miraculous Athos icons of the Virgin:
– Iverskaya (miro)
– The All-Queen (miro)
– Economissa (miro)
– Troeruchitsa (miro)
– Mammalian (oil)
– Skorposlushnitsa (oil)
– “It is worthy to eat” (butter)
In addition, the set will include:
– incense of the vmch. Demetrius of Thessalonica, the Myrrh-streaming
– incense from the relics of the VIC. Anastasia Uzoreshitelnitsy
– komboskini (Greek rosary beads on the wrist), which we will consecrate at the top of Mount Athos.
A gift for a set of shrines:
At our request, the Athos hermit monks will prepare 10 handmade rosaries (100 knots) for us. They are not included in the set of shrines, and at the end of the pilgrimage we will distribute them among those who ordered the sets.
